Mary Knipe Skelton passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at her home in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 83. She was born on Monday, January 6, 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Louis Estelle Bear and the late Arthur Haggins Knipe. She lived many years in Livingston Parish, but was a resident of Covington, Louisiana.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Lisa Skelton Sharp; brother, Bill Knipe; granddaughter; Whitney Mahl; grandson, W. Alan Jobe, Jr. (Kathryn); and great-grandson, William Jobe, III.
In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Frank Skelton; daughter, Sharon Skelton; and brother, Pete Knipe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service honoring Mary's life at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 41372 Thompson Dr., Hammond, Louisiana, on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 9:30 am.
