Mavis Virginia Wagner passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 76. She was born on Sunday, August 3, 1941 in Albany, Louisiana to the late Oma Shelton Wagner and the late Oscar Gail Wagner. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Mavis is survived by her sisters, Ann Barcia and her husband Jimmy, and Dianne Teal and her husband Mike; brothers, Chris Albin, Ray Lexia, and Stanley Lexia and his wife Caroline; and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Gail Wagner; mother, Oma Shelton Wagner; brother, Joe Lexia; and sister, Bobbie Sheridan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
