Melody Jane Milton Sciortino passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 62. She was born on Monday, December 12, 1955 in Hammond, Louisiana to Shirley Robertson Milton and the late Lenorris Milton. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.
Melody is survived by her mother, Shirley Robertson Milton; husband, Gasper Sciortino; children, Kristie Fletcher and her husband Fred, Shelly Maklary and her husband Brian, and Jaimie Sciortino; siblings, Lenora Reitz and her husband Mark, Dana Milton, and Daniel Paul Milton; grandchildren, Damyon Fletcher, Fred Fletcher, III, Kirsten Fletcher, Andrea Daigle, Abbigail Daigle, Brian Maklary, Marques Maklary, Zane Maklary, Annelynn Maklary, Kayleigh Sciortino, and Kason Reagan; and great-grandchildren, Evalynn and Preston Fletcher.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lenorris Milton; and brother, Dale Milton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 11:00 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm.
