Philip Raymond DiMaggio, 70 years old from Tickfaw, LA passed away at his home May 25, 2018. He was born February 28, 1948 to Joseph and Frances DiMaggio. He loved old cars, casinos, camping with his wife and hanging out with his best friend, Tony Calderone. He valued the friendships he had with all his buddies he worked with throughout the years. He had a special bond with each and every one of his sisters and brothers-in-law each having their own inside jokes. His cousins, nieces and nephews were all very special to him, especially Gidgette McClean and Van Inkenbrandt who held a very special place in his heart.

Phil is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tilly DiMaggio; daughter Chasity Hoyt and husband Wayne; daughter Gina McAndrew and husband Wayne; son Philip DiMaggio and wife Julia, his grandchildren: Devin Baize, Abby Hoyt, Austin, Colin, Mary-Kate McAndrew, Kya, Liam, Braven and Willow DiMaggio; sister, Debbie DiMaggio Williams and nephew Mario DiMaggio.

Phil is proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances DiMaggio, brother Joseph DiMaggio, and grandson Dustin Baize.

A visitation for Phil will be held May 30, 2018 at St Helena Catholic Church in Amite, LA, from 8:30 until 11:30am with a funeral mass celebrating his life beginning at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow in the Pompeii Mausoleum in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
