Nicholas Grace died tragically on January 22, 2018.  Nicholas was born in Hammond, Louisiana; grew up in Springfield, Louisiana and enjoyed many trips to visit family in Melbourne, Australia.  He attended Springfield Elementary, attaining the President’s Award, and Springfield Middle School, being nominated Fifth Grade Student of the Year, and Hammond High Magnet School, earning an International Baccalaureate Diploma.  Nicholas received many honors and was involved in numerous clubs and organizations while in school. He attended Louisiana State University, majoring in Economics.  Nicholas loved Our Lord, Jesus Christ, and was a devoted member of Community Church of Springfield.  He was 18 years young.

Nicholas was a beloved son of Kevin and Tamara Grace, and big brother to Christopher and Matthew; grandson of Paul & Valerie (deceased) Bates and Lynette & John Grace; nephew of Shannon & Thomas Fields, Melanie & Landon Becnel, Maryann & Peter Hamilton, Michael & Jenni Grace, Anthony & Kirsty Grace, Liz & Niv Fernando, and Allison & Rowan McConchie. He will be forever remembered and cherished by his 18 cousins and his countless friends and family.

Services are Saturday, January 27, 2018.  Visitation is at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Blvd. in Hammond, Louisiana, visitation 10am-2pm, Christian Service at 2pm, with burial immediately following at Springfield Cemetery.  A gathering afterwards for all family and friends is being planned-place not yet determined.
