Paul W. Watkins passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 89. Paul was born on Monday, July 9, 1928 in Bessemer, Alabama. He is the son of the late James C. and Lola M. Watkins and is predeceased by son Paul Wayne Watkins of Redding, CA.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Lola E. (Betty) Trietch Watkins and sons, James Watkins (Lisa) of Metairie, LA, John Watkins of Bradenton Beach, FL and Michael Watkins (Michelle) of Hammond, LA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He will be fondly remembered by family and countless friends who were blessed and touched by his generous and kind spirit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon and continue until the service time of 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
