Paula "Tenine" Louise Ramirez passed away at her home in Loranger, Louisiana after a long battle with liver failure on November 12, 2017. She was born on December 15, 1966 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a native of Independence, Louisiana.
She is survived by her three children, Gregory Hewitt (Kevin), Chelsea Short (Stanley), and Brittany Brown; three grandchildren, Treyton Lilllie, Brayde and Rhaylee Freeman; three sisters, Rose "Reagie" Short (Rickey), Deborah Hutchinson and Kimberly Brown; mother Camille Hewitt; three nephews, Rickey Short, Jr. (Penny), Ryan Short (Crystal), and Braden Hutchinson and 10 great nieces and nephews, Dawson, Shea, Kadence, Ryan Jr., Alyvia, Ry'lee, Jacob, Nathan, Eli, and Mammaw's girl Aaliyah.
Proceeded in death by her father Buel M. Brown; maternal grandmother, Paula K. Nugent; brother, Edward "Eddie" Powell, Jr.; niece, Ly'Nee Hutchinson; great niece, Montana Rose Short; and stepfather and stepmother, Alvin and Margeory Girior.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at First Pentecostal Church of Independence, 11302 Highway 40, Independence, Louisiana 70443 from 6:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm and visitation will continue until 9:00 pm.
