Peggy Lee Hughes Tycer passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 87. She was born on Tuesday, October 27, 1931 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was the founder and owner of Tycer Ready Mix and Hammond Culvert Supply with her late husband G.F. Tycer Jr. Peggy was very hard working and loved her family dearly. Peggy is survived by her three children, Dwain C. Tycer and wife Linda, Larry L. Tycer and wife Donna, and Glenda T. Whitaker; grandchildren, Chad Tycer and wife Sarah, Trey Tycer, Amy T. Smith and husband Guy, Keaton Tycer, Brandt Tycer, Ashley W. Finch and husband Wesley, and Laura Lee W. Patti and husband Tony; great grandchildren Sydnie Tycer, Cannon Tycer, Ty Smith, Gage Smith, Maddison Finch, Tycer Finch, Weslee Finch, and Loxlee Patti; siblings, Lee D. Hughes and wife Thelma and Sandra Hughes Sanchez and husband Juan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowena and Lee D. Hughes Sr; husband, G.F. Tycer Jr; mother and father in law, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn F. Tycer Sr; grandson, Shaun C. Tycer; sisters, Faye Hughes Clark and Loretta Hughes Wascom "Lulu". Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 11:00 am.
