Raymond Estus Russell, Sr. passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Independence, Louisiana, at the age of 79. He was born on Friday, February 10, 1939 in Independence, Louisiana. He was a resident of Independence, Louisiana.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Sanspree Russell; children, Ramona Ann Russell, Elizabeth Forrest and her husband Brian, Nancy Morris and her husband Calvin, Raymond Estus Russell and his wife Denise, and Thomas Darwin Russell, Sr. and his wife Edna; 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estus Russell and Mattie Whiddon Russell; two brothers, Ben Edward Russell, and Herbert Calvin Russell; sister, Flora Elizabeth Henderson; and son-in-law, Flemin Russell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Light House Baptist Church Cemetery, 30997 Horseshoe Rd., Independence, LA 70443 on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm.
