Raymond Marcel Bergeron passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 surrounded by his family, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 90. He was born on Sunday, January 30, 1927 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Lillian Torres Bergeron and the late Neil John Bergeron. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Cheryl Doiron Bergeron; sister, Alma Bergeron McLaughlin; sons, Cary Schouest and Neil Bergeron II; daughters, Summer Bergeron, Desiree Bergeron, Angeli Bergeron; grandchildren, Summer Boyd, Richard Bickford, II, Michael Sinagra, Hunter Sinagra, Mallory Jowett, and Haley Jowett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neil John Bergeron; mother, Lillian Torres Bergeron; three brothers, Neilton Bergeron (Blacky), Percy Bergeron, Ray Bergeron; and sister, Margaret Bergeron DeSalvo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017, 9:30 am - 11:00 am.
