Rita Berseygay Hoover, 74 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on May 14, 2018, North Oaks Medical Center.
Rita was born on Sunday, October 3, 1943, in Madisonville, Louisiana.
Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Heidi and Robert Davis, daughter, Ashley Hegwood; son & daughter-in-law, Louis "Pete" Hoover Jr. and Mary Kay Hoover, son & daughter-in-law, Joseph R. Hoover and Gail Hoover, son, Andrew Hoover, grandchildren, Andrew T. "Andy" Hoover, Zachery Hoover, Brent Davis, Christian Hoover, and Riggin Davis; sisters, Patsy Davis, Sylvia Kelley, and Katherine Jackson.
She is preceded in death by husband, Louis Hoover, Sr.; parents, Arthur Berseygay and Rita Ryan Berseygay.
Friends will be received Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula.
Services will be held at Harry McKneely and Son in Ponchatoula, on Thursday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
