Rita Faye Babin Morse, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at Belle Maison Nursing Home on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at the age of 77. She was born on Saturday, May 2, 1942, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Mamie Lavigne Babin.
She was a retired educator in the Tangipahoa Parish School System having taught over 30 years.
Rita Faye is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Trampas and Nicole Morse, Rendy Joe & Becki Morse, grandson, Lane Garrett Morse, granddaughter, Lily Grace Morse, brother, Ray Babin, and her honorary son, Kelvin "Bear" Thompson.
She was preceded in death by husband, Omer Louis Morse.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral service will be held and interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
The family would like to thank the staff at Belle Maison Nursing Home for the love and special care Mrs. Rita received during her stay.
