Robert Earl Alexander passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana at the age of 66. He was born on Monday, October 30, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Charlesie Evans Alexander and the late Norman Alexander Sr. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Janet Marie Vicknair Alexander; daughters, Melissa Alexander (Terry) Roussel, Jennie Alexander; brothers, Sherry Alexander and Norman (Josie) Alexander Jr.; brothers-in-law, Eugene (Mary) Powell and Todd (Lisa) Vicknair; sisters-in-law, Penny Vicknair Dufrene, Gloria Alexander, and Roline "Cookie" Alexander; Grandchildren, Madisen, Evan, Ryan, Cary, Samy, and Janey Roussel, and Karsyn and Lexie Alexander; Godchildren, Justin Vicknair and Angela Alexander
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Lynn Alexander and his parents.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 4:30 pm at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church 1900 Greenwood Dr. Laplace, Louisiana 70068.
