Mrs. Rosa Beeland Atkins, 72 years old of Albany, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018, at her residence.
She was born on Monday, September 9, 1946, in Griffin, Georgia, daughter of the late Pope and Jewel Pritchett Beeland.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Ronny Atkins, son & daughter-in-law, David and Christie Atkins, grandchildren, Colleen Atkins, Blair Atkins, and Bradley Atkins; and her brother, Johnny Beeland.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
Services will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am, with Deacon Nat Garofalo officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond, Louisiana.
