Rose "Rosie" Monteleone Ellis, 83 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at home on Friday, May 25, 2018. She was born on Friday, November 30, 1934, in Hammond, Louisiana to Tony and Mary Castiglia Monteleone. Rosie enjoyed life and loved fishing and cooking, but she especially loved spending time with her family.
Rosie is survived are her sons, Brian Richardson, Mike Richardson and David Richardson, Jr., 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her sister, JoAnn Smith, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Mary Castiglia Monteleone, her husband, David Carlton Richardson, Sr. and her brother, Carl Monteleone.
A Graveside Service Celebrating Rosie's Life will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 11:00am at Holly Gardens Cemetery in Hammond.
