Ruby Carolyn Lawson Chartier passed away on November 29, 2017, at her home with family present in Loranger, Louisiana at the age of 71. She was born September 10, 1946 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Ruby is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael Lee Chartier; four daughters, Carolyn Jo Graves and husband John, Julie Passalaqua and husband Joe, Toya Truxillo and husband Kenny, and Stephanie B. Fos and husband Steve; son, Shane Bullock; five grandkids, Matthew Truxillo, Stephanie Fos, Jordan Fos, Kailynn Bullock, and Shane Bullock, Jr.; brother, Frank E. Lawson and wife Dolores; sister, Deborah Gatlin Harkness and husband Wayne; sister in laws, Shauncee Lawson, Martha Lawson, Bernadette Lawson, and Sonya Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that were known as family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leonard V. Bullock, Jr.; step-son, Michael Lee Chartier, Jr.; mother, Ruby Atchley Anderson; father, William Lawson; and four brothers, William Lawson, Larry Lawson, Steve Lawson, and Donald Lawson.
Services were private.
