Ruby Lee Bohannan Sance, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the age of 88. She was born on Saturday, July 16, 1932, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Ruby was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Everyone admired her strength, indomitable spirit and unflinching courage. Our Mother gave us our strength and will be missed but in our hearts forever.
Ruby was the loving wife of Lloyd Daniel Sance for 68 years. She is also survived by her children, Carol Clendenin and her husband Roger, Lloyd T. Sance, Cathy LeSaicherre and her husband Jeff, Nancy Cash and her husband Michael, and Pamela Robinson and her husband J.T.; grandchildren, Jaima Armstrong, Monica Hatch, Rachel Lambert, Rainee Sance, Heather Sellers, Jeff Alan LeSaicherre, Ryan LeSaicherre, Nicole Mizell, Jerica Robinson and Tyler Robinson; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nora Bohannan; sister, Molly Bohannan; and grandson, Brad Daniel Mizell.
A Memorial Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
