On Thursday, May 2, 2019, at age 34, our precious Shane slipped away, with his loving family at his bedside, to be with his Lord and Savior. Shane was born August 9, 1984 to Edwin C. Pemberton Sr. and Carol Pemberton Ciluffo.

Shane attended Ponchatoula schools and graduated from St. Amant Academy with honors at age 16. With his passion for music Shane won the Louisiana State Regional Concert Band finals 1st chair trombone. He then went on to become an excellent drummer in the band, Moth Muzzle. Shane also played the trumpet, guitar, bass guitar, and piano, which were all self-taught, and had a wonderful singing voice. Shane also loved anything he could do in or on the water, especially under water exploring and lobster diving. Shane and his high school sweetheart, Amy Pinion, had two beautiful girls, Isabella and Hadleigh. They were truly the loves of his life. Shane was a hard worker and was a journeyman electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 130. Shane was known for his beautiful smile, his hilarious sense of humor, his tender, sensitive heart, his compassion for all living things, and his exceptional musical talents, all while being exceptionally humble.

Shane was preceded in death by his father, Edwin C. Pemberton Sr.; paternal grandparents, Edwin H. and Marie Pemberton; and maternal grandparents, William and Majorie Stenning.

Shane is survived by his loving mother, Carol Ciluffo (Tony); his darling girls, Isabella and Hadleigh, and their mother, Amy; siblings, Edwin C. Pemberton Jr. (Marie), Shannon Pemberton Eustis (Ryan), Brett Pemberton (Amy), Brandon Miller (Kristine), Leigh Stodola (Steve), and his baby brother, Jace Pemberton; nieces and nephews, Danielle, Cody, Travis, Hannah, Hayden, Maddie, Jackson, Ashley, Alyssa, Brett, Amelia, Rush, Piper, Brennan, Shastyn, Jaxon, Ryker, Ava, and Makayla; uncles, Erwin Pemberton (Janice), and James Pemberton (Rhonda); aunt, Gail Stenning (Steve); as well as a host of cousins and friends.
