Shirley Robertson Ermis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 90. She was born on Monday, March 29, 1926, in Doyle, Louisiana to the late Alice Durnin Robertson and David Robertson.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Karen Marie Ermis; son, Edward Louis Ermis, Jr. and his wife, Brandi; grandson, Kyle Ermis; granddaughter, Robyn Lovetro; and two step grandsons, Brandon Collins and Kyle Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Louis Ermis, Sr.; parents, Alice and Dave Robertson; three sisters, Dorothy Buzzard, Camille Sherman, Eloise Robertson; and four brothers, Byron Robertson, Alan Robertson, Vincent Robertson, and Hilton Robertson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 601 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 9:00 am until service time.
Inurnment will follow in Roberts Cemetery, Hillsdale, Louisiana.
