Steve Michael Valure passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 90. He was born on Monday, May 2, 1927 in Tickfaw, Louisiana to the late Antonina DeNicola Valure and the late Antonino Valure. Steve enjoyed spending his time riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle. He was an incredible father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, brother, and friend to all who will be deeply missed.
Steve is survived by his son, Anthony Valure and his wife Tanya Martin Valure; grandchildren, Jennifer Valure, and Jason Valure and his wife Becky; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Mackenzie, Maguire, and Byntli Valure.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonino Valure; mother, Antonina DeNicola Valure; and wife, Nancy Burregi Valure.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 609 3rd St., P. O. Box 349, Independence, Louisiana 70443, on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery.
