Tammy Ann May passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 57. She was born on March 17, 1962 in Amite, Louisiana to the late Pearl Linton and the late Lawrence Navarre Sr. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Craig May; daughter, Paula Twiner and husband Angel; son, Yance May Sr. and wife Shanna; grandchildren, Erin, Jatelynn, Jayla, Christopher, Yance Jr., June, Juliet, Cameron, Brandi, and Brice; sister, Lisa Husser; brother, Lawrence Navarre Jr; and best friend, Pam Gill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Navarre, Sr.; and mother, Pearl Linton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Independence Baptist Church Cemetery, Fontana Rd. Independence, LA.
