Theresa Picou Causseaux passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at her residence in Mandeville, Louisiana, at the age of 94. She was born on Saturday, December 1, 1923 in Maurepas, Louisiana.
Theresa is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Wilburn "Bill" Causseaux; daughter, Phyllis Causseaux Wiltberger (Cleve); grandchildren, Andrew Wiltberger (Cassandra), Rachel Morello (Joseph), and Sarah Durham (Mike); great-grandchildren, Collin and Kody Durham, Kaden and Savannah Morello, and Cole Wiltberger; two half-sisters, Joycelyn Mitchell and Bessie Parnell; two sisters-in-law, Ione Picou and Blonza Causseaux Smith; three nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Leger Brown Picou; father, Lawerence Picou; step-mother, Hester Ernest Picou; and siblings, Bryan Picou, Rogers Picou, Lettea Picou (infant), Chester Picou, Ervin Picou, John "JC" Picou, Clifton Picou, and Lawrence Picou, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and continue until 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Maurepas Cemetery, Maurepas, Louisiana.
