Tim Anthony Portera, 59 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at his residence. Tim was born on November 26, 1958, in New Orleans. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Tammy Prudhomme Portera; daughter, Amber Portera; son, Wyatt Portera; sisters, Janet Hebert and husband Michael, Cynthia Portera, and Toni Offner and husband Charles; mother-in-law, Marian C. Prudhomme; sister in law, Paula Haydel and husband Lester Jr.; and brother-in-law, Perry Prudhomme. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mildred Babin Portera; and father-in-law, Warren Prudhomme. Friends will be received Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula . Services will be held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Monday, at 1:00 pm, with Father Cayet Mangriacina officiating.
