Vickie Marie Pfister Rester was born on August 30, 1957 and gained her angel wings on March 19, 2019 at the young age of 61. Surrounded by her family, Vickie passed away at her mother’s home after fighting a hard battle with cancer. Vickie loved Elvis Presley, but,more than anything, she loved spending time with her two grandsons.
Vickie leaves behind her loving husband, Wayne, son, Julius, parents, Lewis (Buddy) and Lee Lehmann,sisters Linda Traylor and JoAnn Rester (Robbie), brother, George Pfister (Mona),grandsons Julius and Jayse, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her infant son, Little Wayne, sister, Toni, and nephew, PJ.
Vickie will forever be remembered for her zest for life, laughter, smile, and always brightening the day of others. Anyone who met Vickie loved her. She will be truly missed.
A Visitation for Vickie will beheld on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
