A devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Victor (Vic) Joseph Levatino, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016, in Germantown, Tennessee. Vic was born on March 14, 1926. He was a native of Independence, Louisiana, and a resident of Germantown. Vic was a wounded WWII veteran when his B17F crashed. After a year of recovery, he returned home to develop his career in appliance/HVAC technical consulting. He retired from Electrolux. Vic is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Beckie Fritts Levatino, grandsons and their wives, Elian and Kelly (daughters Alexis Marie and Allie Grace); Kyle and Jessica; and Kaolin and Alex. He is also survived by his sisters Annie Levatino Vaccaro and Rosie Levatino Graphia; and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Vita Cali Levatino; brothers, Sam, Frank and Philip; sisters, Josie Laciura and Mary Levatino; and former wife, Allie Holden Levatino. He was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In His fathers house has many rooms, that He has gone to prepare a place for us. "I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am". Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 609 3rd St., Independence, Louisiana 70443, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church on Friday morning from 10:00 am until the service begins at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum, Independence, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, P.O.
