W. Kohlmann Myers passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home in Robert, Louisiana at the age of 77. He was born on February 29, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lora Cooper Myers and the late T. S. Myers. Kohlmann was the owner of Kohlmann Myers Construction for 17 years. He was very hardworking and always put his family first.
Kohlmann is survived by his four children, Johnette L. Ippolito (Joseph), Mark K. Myers (Sherry), Diana F. Currier (Lonnie), and Paul M. Myers; sister, Eloise Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy and Joshua Ippolito, Luke and Daren Currier, and Rayna Myers; caregiver, Beverly L. Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to express their gratitude to those who cared for Kohlmann during his illness including Lonnie Currier, Donna Jackson, and the staff of Community Care Hospice.
He was preceded in death by his father, T. S. Myers; mother, Lora Cooper Myers; sister, Catherine Gautier; two brothers, Theodore Scott Myers and Clarence M. Myers; and grandchildren, Tyrin Dale and Connor Ray Myers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
