Wallace Hewes West passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 75.  He was born on Sunday, February 1, 1942 in Gulfport, Mississippi to the late Annie Mae Holland and the late Sidney Elmer West.  He was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.

Wallace is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda Kruebbe and her husband Robert, Sr., and Sherry Bowers and her husband Karl; very special nephews, Randy Ladner, Ellis Scarborough; sister, Dola Cumberland and her husband Pee Wee; eight grandchildren, Robert Kruebbe, Jr. and his wife Santana, Brandon  Kruebbe, Brittany Kruebbe, Buck  Collins, Codie Adams and his wife Madeline, Brandie Reid and her husband Jimmy, and Aaron  Bowers and his wife Jennie; great-grandchildren, Kallie, Cheyanne, Brenden, Savanna, Landon, Brenton, Ava, Ariana, Paityn, Bryson, Jayce, and Gracyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Minshew West; father, Sidney Elmer West; mother, Annie Mae Holland West; siblings, Jewel Scarborough, Wayne West, Charlie West, and Bryan Adams, Jr.; and great-grandson, Robert Kruebbe, III.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.  Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.  

Interment will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery.
