Wayne "Super Chicken" Koster passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the age of 68.  He was born on Monday, November 1, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Elsie Mae Ackermann Koster and the late Louis P. Koster, Jr.  He was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.  Wayne was retired from Entergy Corporation after 40 years' service, a member of St. Bernard Pistol and Rifle Range, Auxiliary Police of St. Bernard, trainer of the PR-24, and was known as the "Master of Concealment".

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Otillio and her husband John; son, Glenn Koster and his wife Wendy; brother, Louis Koster; grandchildren, Ray Otillio, and Jacob Koster; nephew, Kirk; niece, Erin Lyn; and numerous grand nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis P. Koster, Jr. and Elsie Mae Ackermann Koster.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 beginning at 6:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.  Visitation will resume after the memorial service until 9:00 pm.
