Willard Clarence Bardwell, 94 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Covington, Louisiana.
He was born on Friday, May 4, 1923, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Willard was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Bible Holiness Church.
Willard is survived by his wife, Rachel Bardwell; daughter, Cindy Grega and her husband Jim; daughter, Charlotte Morgan and her husband Penn; sisters, Opal Jenkins and Sybil Scafidel; grandchildren, Kandy White and her husband Tom, and Kristopher Faulk and his wife Laura; and great-grandchildren, Zoe White, Harper Faulk and Avery Faulk.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Katie Vining Bardwell; parents, E.E. and Lazima Bardwell; sisters, Georgianna Goldate and Blanche Bardwell; brothers, Earl, C.B., Merlin, Huey, Jerry and Kirby Bardwell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 10:00 am. at Bible Holiness Church, 24318 Hwy 22 East, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454.
Interment will follow in Cooper Cemetery, Robert, Louisiana.
