Barbara Ann Ferrante Laciura passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 72. She was born on Tuesday, January 30, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Barbara is survived by her beloved family: her daughter, Donna Ballard Woodburn; son, Trey (Cyndie) Shockley; brother, Anthony (Marion) Ferrante; grandchildren, Kayci, Melanie, Destiny, Faith, McKenna, and Andrew; aunt, Mary Lee Bernard; nieces and nephews, Jason, Jessica, Amanda, Darren, and Kelly; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Rosa St. John & Jesse St. John; two brothers, Jimmy Ferrante and Jesse St. John , Jr.; and her grandson, Michael.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 12:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 12:30 pm.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
