Brian Roy Cox, 42, lost his battle with Depression on November 7, 2022 in Hammond, Louisiana. He was born October 19, 1980 and was a native and lifelong resident of Hammond.
Brian is survived by his parents, Buddy and Susie Cox, and daughter, Alea Elizabeth Cox, all residents of Hammond; and sister, Krystal Cox of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy and Gloria Misita of Independence, and Arlon and Merle Cox of Amite. He was also preceded in death by Alea's mother, Naomi McCulloch of Ponchatoula, and numerous other friends.
Brian was a graduate of Hammond High School, Southeastern Louisiana University, and Compass Career College.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Mass will be held following the visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
