David Laverne McLain, 75 years oldof Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at North Oaks Medical Center.
Surviving are his daughter & son-in-law, Tammy & David Hart, daughter, Tanya McLain & fiancé Clay Milton, 4 grandchildren, Dustin Hart, Taylor Ezell, Emily Ezell and Hayden Hart. sister, Betty Ann Albin; brothers, Raymond McLain, Eugene McLain, Donald McLain, Stanley McLain, and Stephen McLain; special friend, Sue Sharp and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. McLain is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Beverly McKinney McLain. his parents, James Ellis and Ethel Taylor McLain; sisters Joyce Gay, Essie Cleveland, Mamie Keller, and Mavis McManus; brothers, Alton McLain, Alvin McLain, Lawrence McLain, Jim McLain and Sidney McLain.
Friends and relatives will be received Saturday November 13, 2021 from 9:00am -11:00am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery Hammond, Louisiana.
