Donald W. Adams, Sr., 81, passed peacefully at home to join his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 11th. Beloved husband and soul mate to Betty Jean Fontenot Adams and loving father to sons Donald Jr., Michael, Aaron, Kelly and Monty Adams; daughters Suzette Adams, Deborah Barron and Sharon Lemieux. He was the retired business owner of Don Adams' Painting and an active member of Millville Baptist Church. He also leaves behind his only sister, Marie Childers, nephew Gary and niece Gwen, 12 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, loving son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, extended family members and friends. Don was an avid fisherman and deer hunter and will be missed by so many of his sporting "buddies."
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery, Springfield, Louisiana.
