Eva Oakley Bannister was a beloved grandmother, mother, and wife during her incredible 90 years of life. She passed away peacefully Friday February 17, 2023. Eva is survived by three daughters, Anne Pinkerton, Cathy and her husband Scott Robinson, and Suzanne Langley. Three sons, Joe and his wife Kathy Bannister, Glenn and his wife Patricia Bannister, and Randy and his wife Stephanie Bannister. She is also survived by numerous grand, great, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Bannister Sr, as well as a son William Bannister Jr, a daughter Mandy Bannister, and a grandson Justin Settoon. We cannot think of her without a sense of grief and loss, yet there is comfort and peace in knowing she has been received by our heavenly father and is in his loving care. Visitation will be held at Abundant Life Church in Denham Springs, from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 1:00 p.m. on Monday February 20,2023 Immediately following the services, she will be laid to rest next to her husband Bill Bannister, in the Denham Springs cemetery.
