Mrs. Janet Burleson, a resident of Loranger, LA., passed away peacefully at her residence, Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 61. Mrs. Burleson was born September 20, 1955 in West Palm Beach, FL to parents Joe W. and Bette Jo Morris. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Mr. Chris D. Burleson; daughter, Jessica L. Burleson Wolf (Josh); son, Christopher B. Burleson; two grandchildren, Kate and Max Wolf; brothers, Joe Morris (DeNice) and Jim Morris (Diana); sisters, Jeanne (Oscar) and Jayne (Cal); and along with several nieces and nephews who received either pierced ears (usually without their parents permission) or the worst haircuts ever. A gathering will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, LA., on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 1:00pm until memorial service begins at 2:00pm.
