Jason Baglio, 47 of Independence, Louisiana, passed away at his home in Denham Springs, Louisiana Saturday May 8, 2021. He was born August 6, 1973, in Hammond, Louisiana.
Jason is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Brown Baglio; daughters, Shilah Baglio and Heidi Baglio; grandchildren, Trey’Lin Thompson and Amelia Baglio; parents, Freddy Baglio and Cynthia Pecora Baglio; sisters, Lisa Baglio Cullop (Shannon), Becky Baglio; brother, Sean Baglio; and multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Joseph Baglio; grandparents, Charles Baglio Sr, Anna Baglio, Frances Rizzo Baglio, Joseph L. Pecora, Frances Alfano Pecora; and niece, Victoria Fortenberry.
Jason was a cherished, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was a giving and caring soul and will be immensely missed by many.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm., with a Funeral Service beginning at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Bray Sibley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 beginning at 11:00 am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 620 3rd St, Independence, LA 70443.
Entombment will follow at Colonial Mausoleum in Independence, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited for refreshments afterwards at the Police Union Hall, 201 Natchez St., Hammond, LA 70401
