Jean Aann Landaiche Garel, 75 years old of Ponchatoula, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Friday, March 28, 1941, in Head Of Island, LA. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Garel; son, Dirk Garel (Christy); daughter, Hollie Garel; granddaughter, Hamoni Monceaux; grandson, Evan Garel; brothers, Carroll Landaiche (Sharon) and Cornel Landaiche (Rose); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Winnie Stevens Landaiche. A memorial will be held at the Ponchatoula Park Event Building, 42074 N. Hoover Rd.
