Jerry Bennett passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, in Robert, Louisiana, at the age of 77. He was born on Thursday, January 20, 1944 in Lallie Kemp, Louisiana to the late Francis Marie and the late Melton Edward Bennett. He was a resident of Robert, Louisiana.
Jerry is survived by his son, Cody Bennett, grandchild, Lance Bennett, sister, Jeannie Smith (Buck), sister-in-law, Vickie Bennett, brother-in-law, Bobby Powell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Bennett; brother, Bruce Bennett; father, Melton Edward Bennett; mother, Francis Marie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Joiner Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
