JoAnne Stubbs Gipson of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge following a lengthy battle with lung disease. She was born July 22, 1961 to Joe and Nermie Stubbs. JoAnne is survived by her loving husband, William Gipson; sons, Joseph and William Ronie and daughters-in-law Beth and Jenny. JoAnne is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nermie Joyce Stubbs; a brother, Michael Stubbs and a sister, Alice Stubbs Morrison. Visitation for JoAnne will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at 11:00am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, LA.
