Joel Patterson, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at Heritage Manor of Franklinton on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born on Saturday, December 14, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Joel is survived by his wife, Caroline Scalia Patterson, step-son, John Tujague, Jr., step-son and his wife, Michael Tujague and Amy Tujague, grandchildren, Dalton Tujague, Dylan Tujague, Zachary Tujague (Mattie), Sara Tujague, and Angelina Tujague, brother, Maurice Patterson, sister, Darlene Yates, bro-in-law, Joseph Scalia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Patterson and Eloise Bates Patterson, brothers, Johnny and Patrick Patterson, sister, Eloise Patterson.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond , 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
