Judy Lynn Crawford, a native of Fluker, LA, passed away on November 13, 2022, at age 74 from sudden complications with lung disease. She was born on May 16, 1948, to Thornwell and Betty Field. Affectionately called 'Juju', she was a longtime resident of Hammond, LA.

 Judy Lynn graduated from Amite High School in1966, where she was a WaHoop and then Drum Major. She had an amazing gift of music, and during her childhood experienced hearing harmonies in any family Sing-along! She loved to sing and perform. She attended The University of Southern Mississippi and nurtured those gifts dancing as a Dixie Darling and singing with the “Southern Supremes”. She was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity and was initiated into Alpha Lambda Delta, a Freshmen Honor Society.

 Judy Lynn later completed her degree in education at Southeastern Louisiana University. She was a teacher at Woodland Park Elementary, Hammond Eastside Primary, and Natalbany Middle School. She received the “Teacher of the Year” Honor during her tenure and retired after twenty-seven years. After Retirement, she pursued a second career performing as an extra in the Louisiana Film Industry.

 Judy Lynn was an unforgettable force with a heart of gold. She spent many years of her life dedicated to volunteering in her church community. She always helped her family and friends in any way she could.

 Judy Lynn fiercely loved God, her family, the beach, and LSU & Saints football! When Judy was your fan, you had a number one fan for life. She was our biggest cheerleader! 

 Judy Lynn was preceded by her parents Thorny and Betty Field, niece Caroline Mixon, and sister Patsy Kay Turner. She is survived by her beloved son Thornwell Blake Crawford, his wife Ammye and grandchildren Harrison, Andrea, Bella, and Grace; her sisters Betty Ray Field and Donna Lee Mixon, brother-in-law Fred Mixon and her adoring nieces, nephews, and their children. 

 Services will be held at Harry McKneely Funeral Home in Hammond, LA on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Visitation will beheld 11AM-1PM and Service at 1PM. Burial to follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery.
