Kenneth Jerry Cooper passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 62. He was born on Friday, May 22, 1959 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Aurelia Gill Cooper and the late Mack Cooper, Jr. He was a resident of Robert, Louisiana.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Cooper; son, Kenneth Jerry "Snapper" Cooper, II, and his wife, Kristy Cooper; granddaughters, Kennedy Michelle Cooper and Hensley Claire Cooper; brother, Mack Cooper, III (Penny); numerous nieces and nephews; and the office of the coffee club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Cooper, Jr.; mother, Aurelia Gill Cooper; sister, Maxine Cutrer Evans; brother, Clarence Cooper, and nephew, Jeremy Cooper.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, June 5, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
