Ricky R. Balfantz passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, in Gonzales, Louisiana, at the age of 68. He was born on Sunday, July 11, 1954 to the late Maude and Chester Balfantz. He was a resident of Maurepas, Louisiana.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Vickie Balfantz, his daughter, Jessica Balfantz, siblings, Nicky and Carl Balfantz (Pam), Lois Anderson (Charlie), and Reuben Hardy, mother-in-law, Murtis Trabeau, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maude and Chester Balfantz; son, Shawn Balfantz; brother, Terry Balfantz; sisters, Joy Boyle and Jane Hardy; as well as his father-in-law, Felman Trabeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Maurepas Baptist Church, 24323 Hwy 22, Maurepas, Louisiana 70449, on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
Interment will follow in Maurepas Cemetery, Maurepas, Louisiana.
